Description:
2ND CUT TIMOTHY HAY with CLOVER:
- Similar to 2nd cut, with a smattering of clover buds and stems.
- A leafier, more tender hay, combined with a LOT of crunchy clover stems.
- Clover buds are a tender treat.
- Sun and wind dried green in color but may be mixed with a touch of yellow/brown depending on the weather and growing conditions. Clover stems tend to become brown and brittle during drying, yielding a more 'brown' bale in appearance; this is normal.
FEEDING:
- Early 1st and 1st cut Timothy hay is recommended for adult rabbits because it’s stemmier
- 2nd cut is recommended for younger rabbits, picky eaters, and adult pets due to its leafier texture.
- Small pets will love to chew the clover stems because they taste delicious and are great for their gnawing instincts.
STORAGE:
Hay can be stored for up to a year when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location; hay must be allowed to breathe to prevent condensation and mold.
