It's light green in color and has a coarse, stemmy texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSpring Medley\u003c\/strong\u003e is positioned between our regular 1st cut hay and our 2nd cut hay. As a medley, that means itis comprised of Timothy, Orchard Grass, Meadow, Winter Rye, and our delicious clover.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e2nd Cutting\u003c\/strong\u003e is a nice green color, leafier and more tender than 1st.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e2nd with Clover \u003c\/strong\u003eis similar to 2nd cutting, except with a smattering of clover buds and crunchy clover stems, leading to a more green\/light brown nature to the hay due to the clover stems becoming brown in the sun once they dry.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e3rd Cutting \u003c\/strong\u003eis the softest and most tender of our hays, a beautiful dark green, more thin and leafy in texture.We have always harvested our hay with special care to prevent molds, mildew, and dust.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSTORAGE:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eHay can be stored safely up to a year or more when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location.
